The most common misconception when it comes to how you approach your cancer diagnosis is that you have to pick a side…either you’re going to tackle this completely at the mercy of the recommendations of your oncologist, or you will tackle it 100% naturally. I would argue that both camps could potentially be dangerous. It is not an “either/or” decision, but can be a very beautiful “AND” decision as you start to gather your care team together on who you will trust to lead you through this journey.

Did you know that only 5-10% of cancer diagnoses are genetic, and the other 90-95% are birthed out of the perfect combination of modifiable risk factors that ultimately led to a diagnosis?  

Each individual going through cancer treatment is unique, and their plans for their care should be as well. These areas that we assess include your genetic/epigenetic history, blood sugar balance, toxic burden, microbiome, immune system function, inflammation, circulation and angiogenesis potential, hormone balance, circadian rhythms, and mental and emotional stress.  

We take these risk factors and assess them through comprehensive lab testing and questionnaires, and come up with unique strategies to target the terrain, and to create an environment within the body that is inhospitable to cancer. We do not treat cancer, we treat the terrain, and humans. There is no such thing as a protocol.
