When I was just 12 years old, I was placed on birth control to manage horrific, painful periods that caused so much blood loss I would often faint. What I didn’t realize then was how much this “quick fix” would affect my body for years to come.
When I got married and stopped birth control, my body went the opposite direction. I rapidly gained weight, my cycles disappeared completely, and I was diagnosed with PCOS. Specialist after specialist told me I would likely never get pregnant on my own.
But that wasn’t the end of my story.
Through prayer, persistence, and uncovering the root causes behind my hormone imbalances, I found a way to heal naturally. Today, I am a mother to three beautiful children — living proof that infertility does not always have the final word.
