Eden Healing Oasis offers integrative cancer care for people in Wausau who can visit our clinic. We build individualized support around your existing oncology care, never in place of it. A free 30-minute Cancer Discovery Call is the first step to discuss fit before planning a visit.

MAKE EACH VISIT PURPOSEFUL

A practical approach for Wausau

1

Share records in advance so the consultation can focus on useful questions.
2

Explain how treatment affects your energy, schedule, and ability to travel.
3

Consider supportive options only after an individual clinical review.
4

Ask which appointments must be in person and how they may be spaced.

Care beside your oncologist

You do not have to choose between your oncologist and asking what additional support may be appropriate. Eden works alongside your oncology team. Your oncologist remains responsible for your cancer treatment; Eden does not provide chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery, and we do not diagnose cancer.

Nicole Saleske, FNP-BC, APNP, is Eden’s founder and lead provider. She is Certified in IV Nutritional Therapy in Oncology (IIVNTP) and a Graduate of the Advanced Training with Mistletoe Apprenticeship Program (PAAM). Nicole reviews your history, current care, questions, and goals before developing a support plan. Learn more about Nicole and her training.

Tell both Nicole and your oncology team about medications, supplements, and complementary therapies you use or are considering. Some products can interact with cancer treatment. No Eden service should prompt you to delay or change an oncology treatment without discussing it with your oncology team.

What the cancer-care process includes

Eden’s cancer onboarding spans four appointments and leads to a comprehensive care-plan review. It begins with understanding the care you already receive, rather than choosing a therapy from a menu.

  1. Discovery Call: Discuss what you are seeking and whether repeated visits to Eden’s clinic are workable. The 30-minute call is free; it is a fit check, not a treatment appointment.

  2. Clinical review: Share your diagnosis, treatment schedule, health history, medications, supplements, and priorities with Eden for review.

  3. Assessment and lab work: Nicole determines what additional information is appropriate for your individual plan.

  4. Care-plan review: Discuss the proposed support, what requires coordination with your oncology team, and what future visits could involve.

The precise activities and timing of the four appointments depend on your needs. The Discovery Call comes before onboarding; Eden can explain how the appointments are arranged for you. Read about Eden’s broader approach to cancer care.

Depending on Nicole’s assessment, a discussion may include IV Therapy, Localized Hyperthermia, or Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber (hard-shell). These are options to evaluate, not a standard package or treatments for cancer. Nicole decides whether any service is appropriate in the context of your oncology care.

Planning in-person visits from Wausau

Eden has one clinic; find its address on our contact page. There is no Wausau office. If you live in Wausau, consider both the four-appointment onboarding and the possibility of subsequent in-person visits before committing to a plan.

Bring your existing oncology calendar to the conversation: treatment dates, follow-up appointments, and any days when travel may be difficult. Ask Eden how often a proposed service would require an in-person visit and how its timing could fit around your oncology appointments. Ask your oncology team about the proposed therapy before adding it to that calendar. The aim is a plan you can participate in without displacing the care you already receive.

FAQ

Can I complete cancer onboarding without in-person visits?

The free Discovery Call is the place to ask which parts of onboarding require an in-person appointment. Eden’s clinic-based assessments and therapies take place at Eden’s clinic, not Wausau. Do not assume that the four appointments can all be completed remotely.

What should I have ready for the Discovery Call?

Have your current oncology schedule and a list of the treatments, medications, and supplements you want Eden to consider. You can also note questions about the number and frequency of in-person visits. The call establishes whether Eden may be a fit; it does not replace a clinical review.

Do I need to select a therapy before contacting Eden?

  1. Nicole reviews your circumstances before discussing which, if any, supportive services may fit. A therapy listed on Eden’s website is not necessarily appropriate alongside your particular oncology treatment.

Start with a fit check
