People in Oshkosh often discover ozone therapy while researching additional support for complex or persistent health concerns. At Eden, the conversation begins with your medical context and expectations, not with a preset protocol.

MAH and EBOO are performed at our Green Bay clinic. We review venous access, current conditions, medications, and the differences between the procedures before deciding whether either option is suitable.

A Faith-Based Approach to Healing

We have 2 options available for ozone treatment.

Major Auto Hemotherapy (MAH)

This is a simple and fast procedure in which blood is extracted from the vein via an IV catheter. The blood is mixed with normal saline and heparinized to keep the blood from clotting. Ozone is injected into the bag, and the blood is rocked back and forth. During this process, you will see the blood turn bright red. Once ozonated, the blood is returned to the body so the ozone can begin doing its work.

Extra-Corporeal Blood Ozonation and Oxygenation (EBOO)

EBOO is a procedure in which a vein is accessed in each arm. Blood is pulled from one arm via a pump. The blood is mixed with heparin and run through a filter. The filter is what differentiates EBOO from MAH. EBOO covers 420,000 times the surface area of blood than you get in a single MAH session. The blood is then ozonated and will turn bright red before returning to the other arm.

FAQ’s

How do MAH and EBOO ozone procedures differ?

MAH treats a collected amount of blood before returning it through an IV. EBOO circulates blood through a continuous closed system that includes filtration and ozonation, usually using access in both arms.

Why is medical screening required?

Ozone procedures involve venous access and blood handling. Your diagnoses, medications, clotting history, circulation, hydration, and other factors can affect suitability and preparation.

Is ozone therapy an FDA-approved disease treatment?

No. Ozone therapy is not FDA-approved to treat disease and should not replace standard medical care. Discuss complementary services with the clinicians managing your condition.

What should I expect after an ozone appointment?

Experiences vary. The team provides procedure-specific aftercare and explains which symptoms should prompt a call or medical attention. Arrange your day so you are not rushed after the visit.

Can I discuss options before traveling from Oshkosh?

Yes. Start with a discovery call. Eden can explain whether MAH or EBOO is being considered, what screening is needed, and how long an in-person visit to Green Bay may take.
