Localized hyperthermia applies carefully controlled heat to a specific area of the body rather than raising your full-body temperature.

For residents of De Pere, Eden Healing Oasis offers a nearby setting where this focused therapy may be incorporated into a personalized care plan. Each session is guided by your needs, comfort, health history, and response to treatment.

FAQ’s

What does localized hyperthermia feel like?

You will typically feel steady warmth concentrated around the treatment area. The temperature is introduced gradually and can be adjusted if it becomes uncomfortable. Many people find the experience calm and relaxing.

Is localized hyperthermia the same as a sauna?

No. A sauna exposes much of the body to heat, while localized hyperthermia focuses controlled warmth on a selected area. It is a more targeted form of heat therapy.

How long does a localized hyperthermia session take?

Session length can vary depending on the treatment area, your care plan, and how your body responds. Your provider will explain the expected timing before treatment begins.

Will I need more than one session?

That depends on why the therapy is being considered and how you respond. Some care plans may involve a short series of sessions, while others may use localized hyperthermia periodically alongside additional therapies.

Can localized hyperthermia be combined with other treatments?

It may be integrated with other supportive or conventional treatments when clinically appropriate. Tell your Eden provider about all medications, therapies, radiation, chemotherapy, medical devices, and health conditions before beginning.
