IV therapy delivers fluids and selected nutrients directly through a vein, allowing them to enter the bloodstream without passing through the digestive system.

At Eden Healing Oasis, Appleton-area patients can explore both general wellness infusions and more individualized IV strategies at our Green Bay clinic.

IV THERAPY

Precision Delivered

IV therapy can range from straightforward hydration to infusions that require more extensive clinical evaluation.
Eden’s current program includes wellness-focused options as well as prescription-based therapeutic IVs that may require laboratory testing before treatment.

Some patients also ask about high-dose intravenous vitamin C in an integrative oncology setting. IV vitamin C reaches substantially higher blood concentrations than oral vitamin C, but it is not FDA-approved as a cancer treatment and can carry additional risks for people with kidney disease, G6PD deficiency, or certain iron-storage disorders.

Your provider can help determine what is appropriate based on your health history and current care.

Don’t get us wrong, we like a “feel-good” IV every now and then, and we certainly offer those same IVs in various packages to give you a boost of energy, support for the immune system, or enhancing your natural beauty…but we can do so much more.

Our therapeutic IVs are offered by prescription only, and require blood work be done to make sure we are offering you IVs that are safe and effective. We offer oxidative IVs such as High Dose Vitamin C that can be used in certain circumstances, as well as curcumin, green tea extract, resveratrol, and others that can be very therapeutic for folks struggling in the oncology space. It is important to be strategic how we apply these IVs for the best benefit. Contact us for a strategy session on how to make the most of our infusion offerings.

FAQ’s

How does IV therapy work?

A small IV catheter is placed into a vein so fluids and selected ingredients can be delivered directly into the bloodstream.

How long does an IV therapy appointment take?

Timing depends on the infusion, the volume being administered, and your individual treatment plan. The team can give you a better estimate when your specific IV is selected.

Do I need blood work before IV therapy?

Not every basic wellness infusion requires the same evaluation, but certain prescription or higher-dose therapies may require laboratory testing first. Eden’s current therapeutic IV program uses blood work when clinically appropriate.

Does Eden offer high-dose IV vitamin C?

Eden’s current IV program includes high-dose vitamin C in certain circumstances. Appropriate screening is important because it is not suitable for everyone.

Can IV vitamin C replace cancer treatment?

No. IV vitamin C is not FDA-approved as a cancer treatment and should not replace oncology treatment recommended by your cancer-care team.
